Steven Kim Albert R. Tan is a licensed Mechanical Engineer, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Santo Tomas and a Master of Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business under the Ateneo–Regis Program. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at De La Salle University, where his research focuses on sustainability, logistics and operations management, and financial management. He has over 14 years of experience in the oil industry – Petron Corporation, with more than 10 years specializing in logistics and supply chain operations. Steven currently serves as Fleet Services Group Manager at Petron Corporation, where he leads the management of nationwide trucking logistics, fuel deliveries, and the company’s Vendor Managed Inventory System. His responsibilities include fleet performance management, contractor oversight, operational efficiency improvement, and profitability enhancement. As part of his corporate career, Steven played a key role in the establishment and development of a hauling subsidiary, which has since grown into a large-scale logistics operation with assets now exceeding 4 billion pesos. His involvement covered business planning, fleet build-up, operational structuring, governance, and performance management within a regulated and asset-intensive industry.
